T. rex and Velociraptor may be famous for their menacing faces and slightly Hollywood-ified personas, but one thing is undeniable about the two: their proclivity for carnivory, or the consumption of meat. What may surprise you is that the dinosaur family to which these creatures belong has a particular branch that has perplexed scientists for years—and their latest findings may be quite a departure from the family’s reputation.
