These beautiful creatures have been around before dinosaurs even started walking around, and—shocking as it may seem—sharks actually appeared in the fossil record before trees did.
And yes, they also talk about the legendary Megalodon. And as it turns out, the disappearance of the largest shark in the fossil record may just be the key as to why we suddenly have the blue whale, the largest animal on record.
