The theory of pseudo-panspermia suggests that the essential building blocks of life, such as amino acids and nucleobases, may have formed in space and arrived on Earth via asteroids and comets. Recent discoveries, including the OSIRIS-REx mission’s findings on asteroid Bennu, provide strong evidence for this hypothesis.
