NASA’s Europa Clipper, launching in October 2024, will embark on a five-and-a-half-year journey to explore Jupiter’s moon Europa. Europa is considered the second best place in our solar system to find extraterrestrial life. The mission is to investigate the moon’s subsurface ocean and its potential to support life by analyzing its chemical composition and geologic activity.
