A version of the image was entered into the Hubble\u2019s Hidden Treasures image processing competition by Flickr user Det58."},"primaryImageOfPage":{"@id":"https:\/\/modernsciences.org\/staging\/4414\/webb-telescope-captures-images-of-a-supernova-in-a-distant-galaxy\/#mainImage"},"datePublished":"2023-03-19T22:00:00+00:00","dateModified":"2023-03-07T16:55:23+00:00"},{"@type":"WebSite","@id":"https:\/\/modernsciences.org\/staging\/4414\/#website","url":"https:\/\/modernsciences.org\/staging\/4414\/","name":"Modern Sciences","description":"A media company that aims to provide the academics, researchers, and science enthusiasts with the latest news and stories in the world of Applied and Pure Science.","inLanguage":"en-US","publisher":{"@id":"https:\/\/modernsciences.org\/staging\/4414\/#organization"}}]},"og:locale":"en_US","og:site_name":"Modern Sciences - A media company that aims to provide the academics, researchers, and science enthusiasts with the latest news and stories in the world of Applied and Pure Science.","og:type":"article","og:title":"Webb Telescope Captures Images of a Supernova In a Distant Galaxy - Modern Sciences","og:description":"A team of researchers has unexpectedly captured images of an exploding Type 1a supernova in a spiral galaxy thanks to the James Webb Space Telescope (JWST) data.
