Any aspiring scientist wishing to study the stuff above Earth and beyond would likely have to find ways of gathering their data without having to leave the confines of Earth; after all, space travel is costly. Of course, there are ways of sending technology up there as your eyes and ears while you stay down on the ground—but how do you make those contraptions?
